A greeting from James and Suzanne by James and Suzanne from James and SuzanneDear Gerry, Congratulations on attaining the big three-quarter century. Enclosed is a photo taken in Oct. 1982 when we were delighted to have yourself and Rosemary visit. I now see why she has continued to insist on singing about "my handsome, winsome Gerry". You continued to be winsome when you had to put up with her sprained ankle, which she incurred while "walking" around Unionville. One of my earliest memories involving Gerry Mulvenna is how delighted our dear mother was when you constructed the valances for her drawing room windows. You'd have thought she had died and gone to heaven - so happy to have a man about the house who could do something (apart from procreation that is - forgive me father!) I don't think I've ever thanked you Gerry, for letting me share your already very crowded Fruithill Park home, 1962-63. I trust you'll remember this fact, even though Rosemary doesn't. Such was the impact I must have made. Gerry, congratulations on a wonderfully fulfilled life and on being such a wonderful provider for your beautiful wife and family. Have a memory-filled weekend in the bosom of your family. Love and best wishes From James, Suzanne, Siobhain and Michael |
