Happy Birthday, Gerry! by Carmel and Bill by Carmel and Bill from Carmel and BillMuch water has gone under the bridge and you have achieved monumental accomplishments during your lifetime. Congratulations - enjoy the reflections and may you have good health to enjoy the fine things of life for many years to come. I do want to remind you that I was one of your first employees! You were selling hurling sticks and paint while still teaching and around 1962-63. I was attending Miss Dunn's School of Shorthand and Typing on Donegall Square, Belfast. You actually paid me to type invoices - very slowly. It seems you went on to sell a lot of hurling sticks and paint!! Well done. Thanks for your hospitality and generosity to Bill and I when we have visited Ireland. I know somebody finished your bottle of Sheep Dip once when we stayed at the apartment in Dublin. Since you always see the positive side of life - it was one less thing to clear out when you sold! Enjoy your special day with your wonderful family - your greatest treasure of all. Much love |
